When you come out of the arrivals gate, you will be met by someone holding a sign with your name on it.  You will be walked to the dock, your luggage will be put on board and you’re off to your hotel. The usual cost is about a 110 euros if your hotel is in the city and about 125 euros if on Lido Island. The ride takes approximately 25-30 minutes. Shared transportation is a pre-paid, cost effective way to reach the closest boat stop near your hotel. Once you’ve cleared customs, you’ll be greeted by your driver in the arrivals hall and climb aboard your boat. It is a great alternative to the high cost of a private transfer, waiting in long lines for taxi boats or squeezing on the Vaporetto.  Book early especially during high season.
